After a Long Voyage, Sailors Return Home to Their Families

On Monday in San Diego, sailors had an emotional reunion with their families after being deployed at sea for 295 days.

As mentioned by FOX, the USS Lincoln was scheduled to return in October, however, since tension was at an all time high with Iran, their deployment was extended as an attempt to maintain peace.

Thankfully, the extended time abroad did just that, and now these dedicated soldiers are finally home with their families. Many got to meet their infant children for the first time, while others got to embrace loved ones they so dearly missed.
