4:05 PM ET – Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, author of Trump’s America: The Truth about Our Nation’s Great Comeback, his latest NY Times bestseller, is here to talk about the media and the reactions across the house and Senate to the news from the President’s week in Europe. From the NY Post on the Russia summit remarks:
After Trump claimed Tuesday that he meant to say “wouldn’t” as opposed to “would” in reference to whether or not he believed Russia interfered in the 2016 election, Gingrich took to Twitter to say Trump “did the right thing” by “clarifying” his comments.
President Trump did right thing today in clarifying his comments in helsinki-reiterating his respect for and support of Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and the intelligence community. President responded quickly and clearly once he realized he had used wrong language.
Still, Trump’s initial statement while standing beside Putin caused widespread condemnation from both sides of the political aisle. Current Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said Trump had to recognize that Russia was not an ally of the U.S., while Senator John McCain of Arizona said Trump had “abased himself” before a “tyrant” like Putin.
Despite his rollback, Trump’s tweets both before and after attempting to clarify his statements call into question whether he actually does side with the U.S. intelligence community.
4:35 PM ET – Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky is here to discuss the chaos on the Hill from the SCOTUS announcement, to the President’s NATO trip and the summit with Vladimir Putin. Paul is taking a stand with President Trump, chastising his outraged colleagues on the Hill:
Paul tells The Associated Press, “We should look for ways to make the dialogue better.”
He says lawmakers and former intelligence officials criticizing Trump include those from both parties who are opposed to his presidency. He calls it “Trump derangement syndrome.”

5:05 PM ET – RNC Spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany, author of The New American Revolution: The Making of a Populist Movement and Jeffrey Lord, Former associate political director in the Reagan administration and columnist are both survivors of the fake news network, CNN, today they take a look at the memory lapse that many on the left are having. Who did Obama meet with? Nixon? Clinton? What deals and kind words were said to those individuals? Lord and McEnany will also give us their take on the art exhibit in Oregon showing the decapitation of President Trump and the mobs of people “occupying” ICE offices at the behest of socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. An art gallery in Portland, Oregon found itself in serious trouble this week, opening a featured exhibit titled ‘F*** TRUMP’ that highlights a poster depicting the President’s ISIS-style beheading.
The One Grand Gallery came under fire from both sides of the aisle after the shocking opening, with many calling the graphic depiction of the President’s murder similar to the infamous Kathy Griffin ‘Severed Head’ photographs.
The owner of the gallery -a US Veteran and Trump voter- demanded the artist remove the material immediately, saying, “It wasn’t me, I didn’t do it, I’m a United States Air Force veteran, I even voted for the guy.”
