As reported by ABC 13, earlier this week in West Valley City, Utah, police officer Jeremy Dean was patrolling the 3100 South when he was suddenly waved down in the middle of traffic by a frantic man.
Dean’s body camera had been rolling when he pulled up next to the man on the side of the road, who informed him his wife had gone into labor and they were not going to make it to the hospital in time for the delivery.
Footage from the body camera then captures Officer Dean rushing to his car to get supplies and then assisting the mother with her delivery. Shortly after he successfully delivered the baby girl, West Valley City Fire arrived on the scene to take the family to the hospital for a check up.
