4 TYgers in Double Figures as Senior High Beats Madison to Improve to 3-0

Mansfield Senior improved to 3-0 with a 85-69 win at cross-town rival Madison on Friday night.

Senior High had 4 players score in double figures, led by freshman Kaylen Brooks with 26 points, which included 5 made three point field goals. D'Vontae Johnson poured in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. He also connected on 3/4 from 3-point range and 6/8 at the free throw line. Rashad Reed chipped in 14 points, while Kyvie Roane added 11.

Madison was led by Colton Adkins with 19 points and Kaleb Gordon with 16.

Senior High outrebounded Madison 39-27.

The TYgers improve to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the OCC.

The loss for Madison, their 4th in a row, drops them to 1-4 and 0-2 in the league.
