Former Buckeye Aaron Craft Named Defensive Player Of The Year in Italy

Former Ohio State Basketball standout Aaron Craft has been named Defensive Player of the Year for Lega Basket Serie A, which is the top level of professional basketball in Italy. Craft won the award yesterday after a season playing with Aquila Basket Trento.

Craft spent four years at Ohio State as a point guard where he won Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and helped the team reach the NCAA Final Four in 2012. This year with Trento, Craft averaged ten-points, four rebounds, and one steal per game.
