Cade Stover Named Ohio Mr. Football 2018

Lexington’s Cade Stover on Wednesday was named Ohio’s Mr. Football for 2018. Stover, who is headed to play for Urban Meyer and Ohio State next year, had 175 tackles this year to lead the Minutemen. Stover plays the safety or rover position and made an instant impact at Lexington the moment he walked on the field as a freshman. For his career at Lexington, Stover piled up near 600 tackles (592) and a whopping 190 as a sophomore.

Cade Stover is the 32nd Mr. Football, but is just the 7th defensive player to earn the honor.

Stover is the first ever player for Richland County to win the exclusive honor!
