The West Nile Virus has been found in Crawford County.
RichlandSource.com reports that Galion Health Commissioner Trish Factor confirmed it was found in a mosquito trap back on July 20th and was confirmed on Monday. Galion has been spraying all summer for mosquito’s and last sprayed on August 5th and 6th.
Mosquitoes can carry diseases, including West Nile Virus, which can cause serious illness. It is important to apply mosquito repellent when participating in any outdoor activity when mosquitoes are active.
