Subject: Update on Search Warrant Execution and Ongoing Criminal Investigation
Ontario Police Department —On 04/09/26, Investigators have completed a comprehensive search of a local residence following the execution of a search warrant. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) was requested to assist in processing the scene, which has yielded physical evidence.
Upon entry, authorities confirmed the residence was unoccupied and devoid of furniture or personal belongings. However, forensic teams documented biohazardous conditions throughout the interior.
Multiple walls were found covered in what appears to be fecal matter.
In one of the bedrooms, investigators discovered a mount bolted directly into the floor. Attached to this mount were two chains and two sets of handcuffs.
BCI technicians have collected the restraint hardware and other relevant materials for advanced laboratory analysis. A primary focus of the upcoming forensic work will involve testing for touch DNA to identify individuals who may have been present in or confined within the home.
We are still in the preliminary stages of this investigation. The evidence recovered is being prioritized for forensic testing, and our department is working diligently to establish a timeline of events associated with this property.
We have no further details at this time, and we will update as the investigation proceeds.
