Mapleton School District in Need of Bus Drivers for Next Year

In Ashland County, the Mapleton School district is need of a handful of bus drivers for next school year.

AshlandSource.com reports, Mapleton is losing 4 or 5 bus drivers, who are retiring or moving out of the district. That's around half of Mapleton's bus drivers, as the district currently has 8.

Superintendent, Scott Smith, said, it's going to be very difficult to find 4 or 5 bus drivers over the course of 12 months. He said, they are looking to see if the district can operate with few drivers and what the schedule would look like.
