A Mansfield business is planning a $74 million expansion on the north side of town.
According to RichlandSource.com, Newman Technology is adding on to their currently facility on Cairns road with an additional 70 new employees with estimated new annual local payroll of $3.5 million.
Newman Technology, who is a manufacturer in the automotive parts industry, is investing in new stamping press technology that will help them make new parts they have not been able to manufacture in the past.
Governor Mike DeWine announced the Ohio Department of Development has approved the project for a 1.225%, 6 year Job Creation Tax Credit.
