In Shelby, around 450 workers at ArcelorMittal are on strike.
RichlandSource.com reports, this went into effect at 11:59 pm on Tuesday night, after a deal to reach a new contract did not happen. Negotiations began back in early September between the union and ArcelorMittal, which the plant in Shelby is their largest in the state of Ohio.
