$10,000 Bond Set for Man, 65, Who Allegedly Made Threats at Avita Hospital

Bond was set on Thursday at $10,000 for a Lexington man, who allegedly made threats toward Avita hospitals in Ontario and Galion.

RichlandSource.com reports, Randy Dawson, 65, was taken into custody without incident on Wednesday morning by Galion Police, after Ontario Police Chief, Tom Hill, said, they receive a call that he made verbal threats towards the hospital staff, at the Richland Mall location.

When Ontario Police arrived, they determined the suspect had left, and went to the Avita Hospital in Galion. Officers from Ontario Police transported him to the Richland County Jail.

Dawson pled not guilty to the charges of inducing panic and aggravated menacing. A bench trial is scheduled for February 13th.
