A Mansfield man has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for a fatal accident back in 2022.
According to RichlandSource.com, Clyde Hoffer, 42, caused a crash in July of 2022 by passing on a yellow line. The victim in the crash, a 73 year old woman from Crestline, died two weeks later.
Hoffer will spend 30 months behind bars for vehicular homicide and an amended charge of vehicular assault. Judge Brent Robinson also ordered Hoffer to pay restitution of $1,300 and suspended his driving license for a period of 5 years.
