Popular influencer 'Big Boom' A.J. Befumo confirmed he suffered a broken foot during his All Elite Wrestling match against Q.T. Marshall Saturday (November 23) night.

Befumo, 48, who previously worked as an independent wrestler years before becoming a TikTok sensation alongside his son, Eric 'Big Justice' Befumo, 12, shared a video confirming his status after reports of the injury.

"Yes, the story is out there, I did break my foot in the ring Saturday night," Befumo said. "I think it happened somewhere right around the flying clothesline."

"I guess that adrenaline kicked in and I was able to finish the match," Befumo added, acknowledging that his entire family was in attendance at the Prudential Center in his home state of New Jersey.

Befumo, who previously wrestled on the New Jersey independent circuit under the moniker 'the American Powerchild Eric Justice' during the 1990s through 2005, confirmed he spoke to AEW CEO, President, General Manager and Head of Creative Tony Khan and planned to eventually make his in-ring return, while continuing to work with the company as he recovers from injury. The TikTok star defeated Marshall, whom he knew from his independent wrestling career, during the 'Zero Hour' preshow of AEW's Full Gear pay-per-view.

A.J. and Big Justice initially went viral for their TikTok videos describing themselves as 'Costco Guys' earlier this year and have since emerged as one of the app's most recognizable accounts.
