The Shelby girls volleyball team is headed to the state final four - for just the 3rd time in school history.
Shelby defeated Lakeview on Saturday in 4 sets, 3-1, to win the Division IV regional championship at Lexington High School.
The Lady Whippets will now play Marlington High School, out of Alliance, which is located near Canton, in the state semi-finals. The game will be played on Thursday, November 7th at 7:30 pm in Vandalia, at Butler High School, which is just north of Dayton.
Shelby girls volleyball reached the state semi-finals back in 1987 and 1990.
