The trial of a 28 year old Mansfield man has been delayed.

According to RichlandSource.com, Bryce Witchey waived his right to a speedy trial and his attorney has requested more time to prepare. Also, forensic mental evaluation, which was ordered by the court, is not yet complete.

Witchey was arrested back on June 13th for allegedly seeking sex with a juvenile. Mansfield Police received a 9-1-1 call from a woman and said, Witchey was talking to her 8 year old daughter on social media, and she recorded the on-screen conversation.

He was indicted by a Richland County grand jury on 31 felony counts, related to child pornography.
