More than 1,200 in Shelby Area without Power Thursday, AEP Investigating

Thursday afternoon around 1,200 AEP customers in the Shelby area were without power.

RichlandSource.com reports, a communications person for AEP said, crews were on site Thursday afternoon to find the cause of the outage. There actually have been intermittent outages in the area, dating back to Tuesday.

AEP crews spent time inspecting lines in the area near Mickey Road. Some Shelby customers, on the south side of town, near Jayne Avenue were also impacted.
