One Arrest Made During Crawford County OVI Checkpoint

Patrol OVI Checkpoint on County Road 330

Bucyrus – The Ohio State Highway Patrol conducted an OVI checkpoint on County Road 330 west of U.S. 30 and east of Stetzer Road in Crawford County on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

The OVI checkpoint funded by federal grant funds was planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. During the checkpoint, 290 vehicles were checked by troopers. As a result of the checkpoint efforts, one OVI arrest was made.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol would like to remind everyone, if you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink. Don’t let another life be lost for the senseless and selfish act of getting behind the wheel impaired.
