A Mansfield native is hoping to transformer the former Westinghouse site on East Fifth Street.
RichlandSource.com reports, Marquise Stillwell, who is a Madison graduate and a national designer, developer and entrepreneur based out of New York, has a vision to develop the area into what is called – Lower Downtown. He said, it would create a vibrant hub connected to the rest of the city – with space to live, work and play.
Stillwell met with the Richland County Land Bank on Tuesday and told the board, he needs 12 months to launch the effort to create the community hub on the nearly 14 acres of land.
