Murder trial for Ashland County man delayed until October

The murder trial for an Ashland County man, charged for allegedly shooting his son, has been delayed until the fall.

Stanley Gardner, 73, faces an aggravated murder charge for the incident, which took place in September of 2022. Gardner’s health issues are a concern to officials, according to AshlandSource.com

The trial was scheduled to begin July 9th, but now has been continued and pushed back, until October 22nd. There have now been 5 continuances in the case, since it started back in the fall of 2022.
