University of Cincinnati Student, Stephanie Finoti, Crowned Miss Ohio

Stephanie Finoti was crowned the new Miss Ohio on Saturday night in downtown Mansfield.

Finoti, 21, is a native of Columbus and attends the University of Cincinnati, where she studies biomedical science.

RichlandSource.com reports, Finoti, in front of a packed house at the Renaissance Theater, said, she wants to use her platform to help other women gain confidence to pursue their dreams.

Finoti's parents, who taught her to write and how to speak English, are from Brazil and immigrated to the United States.
