Ontario Mayor, Randy Hutchinson, Stepping Down in July

Ontario mayor, Randy Hutchinson has announced he is stepping down, next month.

Hutchinson, who has been mayor of Ontario for 10 years, will officially step away, effective July 10th, 2024.

In an e-mail to the media, Hutchinson said, he is proud of the things that were accomplished with the team, during in his time as mayor.  Randy Hutchinson, 65, spent 26 years as an Ontario Police officer and was elected mayor in 2013. Hutchinson has accepted a job with the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, as a Mobility Manager.

RichlandSource.com reports, the Richland County Republican Party Central Committee will make an appointment for who will finish out the 4 –year term of Randy Hutchinson, which will expire at the end of 2025.
