The Loudonville-Perrysville Schools are banning cell phones, while school is in session.

RichlandSource.com reports, the school board has adopted a new policy for the 24-25 school year, which bans high school students from having or using cell phones during the academic day.

Students will keep their phones in their lockers for the entire day. If students need to use the phone to contact their parents, they can do so, in the office, with permission.

The policy also said, no electronic devices, including laptops and chromebooks, will be permitted in the cafeteria during lunch.
