Bond has been set at $1 million in Ashland County for a Morrow County man, who led authorities on a chase across 5 counties, earlier this week, in North Central Ohio.

RichlandSource.com reports, Joshua Boucher, 43, was wanted for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident on Monday, he then later stole a vehicle in Ashland County, and led law enforcement on a chase through Richland, Knox, Morrow, Holmes and Ashland County. The high speed chase caused schools to go into lockdown before he was arrested in the Loudonville area.

Boucher said, it was all a misunderstanding during his bond hearing.

The Ashland County Prosecutor’s office said, there could be additional charges.
