The city of Mansfield is making plans to replace a bridge on 6th street, just east of Bowman Street.
David Falquette, Mansfield At-Large member, said the cost is just over $1 million, but ODOT is covering all but $90,000. The double arch bridge is more than 100 years old. The design phase will take a couple of years to complete. The construction of the new bridge is expected in the summer or fall of 2026.
