LISTEN "LIVE" - Shelby vs Maysville, State Semi-Final on My 100.1 FM / WMAN

The Shelby Whippets Boys' basketball team is playing in the state tournament, Saturday, for the 1st time in school history.

Shelby (25-2) beat the #1 team in the State, Lutheran West, to win their 1st Regional title last week in Bowling Green. The 25 wins are the most in school history.

The Whippets have won 19 straight games and have not lost in 2024 (19-0).

Shelby (25-2) will play Maysville (25-3) (out of Zanesville) on Saturday, March 23rd in the Division II State Semi-Finals at 2 pm. Maysville is making their 1st trip to the state tournament in 53 years (1971).


The game will be played inside of the University of Dayton's - UD Arena.

It will be broadcast on MY 100.1 FM and WMAN.

Pregame coverage begins at 1:30 pm.
