Galion Man, 70, Life Flighted To Hospital After Serious Injury Crash

On March 13, 2024 at 5:15 p.m. the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an injury crash on SR 602 at US 30 in Whetstone Twp. Sheriff Deputies, Volunteer Fireman from Whetstone and Jefferson Townships responded, along with Life First.

Deputies found that Larry Stoney, 70, of Galion, Ohio was southbound on SR 602 operating his black 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle and made contact with an unknown vehicle near the westbound ramp to US 30. The unknown vehicle left the scene prior to Deputies arriving on scene.

Stoney was flown from the scene to a Columbus Hospital by Med Flight with serious injuries.
