A crowd of more than 400 people were on hand in Crestline, late last week, to show their support to bring a local Amtrak station to the area.
According to RichlandSource.com, the group, All Aboard Ohio, hosted an information program to share the next steps needed to bring passenger rail service to the area.
Crestline mayor, Linda Horning-Pitt, said, It’s just not about Crestline – but the entire area, which includes Richland, Ashland and Morrow County. The mayor stated – over 300,000 people live in a 35 mile radius of Crestline.
