Basketball: Ottawa-Glandorf Edges Lexington In Battle of State Ranked Teams

Lexington - A nearly full house on Saturday night saw a battle between two state ranked teams, as #3 Ottawa-Glandorf held on to beat #2 Lexington, 58-54.

The Titans jumped out to an 18-8 lead after the 1st quarter. Lexington, which had several turnovers in the 2nd quarter, trailed by 9 points at halftime.

The Minutemen cut the lead to 5 multiple times and eventually got to within 3 points late in the 4th quarter. But, OG was able to hit some key free throws late and hung on for the 4 point victory.

Ottawa-Glandorf (18-3) was led by Ohio State commit, Colin White with 25 points, while Caden Erford added 19.

The Minutemen (20-2) had a team high 15 points from Seven Allen, while Brayden Fogle chipped in 13 and Elijah Hudson with 10.

Lex will not play again until March 1st, which is their 1st tournament game (Sectional Final) vs the winner of Clear Fork/Galion.
