Mansfield Senior completed the season series sweep over crosstown rival Madison on Friday. The TYgers traveled to the Madison Middle School and came away with a 67-54 victory.
Senior High jumped out to a 10-0 lead and lead by as many as 22 points in the 1st half. The Rams would not go away, cutting that lead down to 9, but could get no closer.
Mansfield Senior was led by Kyevi Roane with 20 points, Rashad Reed, who hit a big 3 in the 3rd quarter to push the lead back to double figures, added 11 points. The TYgers had 8 players score in the game.
Madison had a great night from Cam Kuhn, who scored a game -high 21 points, which included shooting 50% from 3 point land (5/10).
The win ends the regular season for Mansfield Senior at 16-6 and they will next play Ontario, Feb 27th (7 pm) at home in the tournament opener.
The loss for the Rams is their 18th in a row and Madison (1-20) finishes the regular season Tuesday at Clear Fork.
