Willard (16-3) scored 20+ points in each of the first 3 quarters in a road win, 72-55, over Lucas (14-4) at the Cub Cave.
The Flashes led 21-18 after the 1st quarter, but a Max Dawson 3-point field goal at the buzzer, sent Willard into the locker room with a 10 point halftime lead. A 12-0 run by Willard in the 3rd quarter pushed the lead out to as many as 27 in the 2nd half. Cam Robinson had 15 points and was one of 3 Willard players in double figures.
Aidan Culler led Lucas with 16. Gabe Porter added 13 and Logan Toms chipped in 12.
