Investigation: Body Found Near Ninth Street, Cleveland Ave In Ashland

Authorities in Ashland County are investigating after a body was found on Sunday afternoon.

According to RichlandSource.com, the body was found in a wooded area, near Ninth Street and Cleveland Avenue. Ashland Police Captain, Craig Kiley, said they received a call around 2 pm and that Ohio BCI will lead the investigation.

The identity of the person has not yet been released.
