Lexington now owns a 2 game lead in the Ohio Cardinal Conference, after the Minutemen beat Mansfield Senior, 83-56, on Saturday.
Lex had a 1 game lead on the TYgers entering the game, but now have a 2 game advantage - following an impressive all around win.
Elijah Hudson led the way for the Minutemen with 26 points (12 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 assists), Seven Allen added 14, Dantrell Hughes and Joe Caudill each chipped in 8 pts, while Brayden Fogle had 6 points and a game high 13 rebounds.
Lex outscored Senior 51-39 in the 2nd half and held the TYgers to just 5 points in the 2nd quarter. Mansfield Senior was led by Kyevi Roane with 27 points. Lex won the battle of the boards by 21, grabbing 48 rebounds to Senior High's 27.
