High School Boys Basketball: Unbeaten Lexington, Ranked 3rd In State Poll

The first high school boys basketball state poll of the year is out – and the unbeaten Lexington Minutemen - are ranked 3rd n Division II.

Head Coach, Scott Hamilton, has guided his group, which has a terrific sophomore class, to a 6-0 start in the OCC and 12-0, overall. Lex did receive one first place vote.

Willard, also in Division II, is ranked 5th in the initial poll.

Division III, undefeated Crestview is just outside of the top 10, but is listed in the receiving votes category. John Kurtz’s Cougars are 10-0 and host Norwalk St. Paul, Thursday night, in a first place battle in the Firelands Conference, as both teams are 5-0 in the league.
