The Lucas Cubs are now - all alone in 1st place in the Mid-Buckeye Conference - after their "thrilling", 64-62, win at Mansfield Christian on Friday.
Logan Toms had an incredible night for Lucas, as he poured in a game high 32 points in the win, 14 of those in the final quarter. Aiden Culler chipped in 20 points for Lucas, who trailed by as many as 10 points.
Mansfield Christian had 3 players reach double figures: Dre Martin 17, Amarr Davis 16 and Davion Mack with 10.
Lucas, now 8-1, is 4-0 in the MBC, while the Flames, 6-3, suffered their 1st loss in league play. The Cubs are vying for their 6th straight MBC crown.
