The Richland County Board of Elections met on Friday, November 17th to certify the results of the November 7th election.
454 provisional ballots were counted, 123 absentee ballots were also postmarked correctly. The turnout was 50% with just over 41,000 ballots cast. The Madison school levy, which had an 11 vote difference on election night, was within the .50% threshold for a recount.
Matt Finfgeld, Director of the Richland County Board of Elections, said, that recount will take place on Monday, November 27th at 8:30 a.m.
