A Standoff situation in Mansfield on Tuesday ended peacefully. According to RichlandSource.com, Ronnie Bays, who had an active felony warrant, barricaded himself, and another person, inside of a home on Glessner Ave. Mansfield Police Chief, Keith Porch, said, the incident ended without injuries, as after negotiations authorities were able to get them to surrender. Police responded after calls of a person possibly armed with a firearm making threats. The Mansfield PD determined the man in the home did have a firearm. Authorities, which included the SWAT team, were on scene for around 7 hours. The incident remains under investigation.
