Mansfield Police are investigating after human remains were found in the woods at North Lake Park.
According to RichlandSource.com, a body was found about a half mile into the woods on the north side of the lake on Sunday morning.
Bob Ball, Richland County Coroner’s office chief investigator, said, the body was covered in leaves. No other information has been released.
A forensic team from Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania arrived in town on Monday to help in the case.
