The city of Mansfield will soon be asked to contribute $250,000 in ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds to help in the demolition of a building at 400 Park Ave East.

RichlandSource.com reports, the property, formerly owned by Denver Roof, was purchased by Goyal Industries and Cement Products in 2022. The plan is to clean up the property for redevelopment.

Leftover state funds will also be used toward the demolition cost.
