Ashland County Commissioners Agreed To 2 Year Energy Aggregation Contract

The Ashland County Commissioners have agreed to a 2 year contract for energy aggregation.

According to RichlandSource.com, the deal is with electric service provider Dynegy, which will set the price of electricity at 6.5 cents per kilowatt for 5 Townships: Green, Mohican, Milton, Vermillion and Perry, along with the villages of Jeromesville and Hayesville.

 The contract begins on December 1st of this year and runs through December of 2025. In June, First Energy customers in Ashland saw their price, per kilowatt, increase from 5.5 cents to just over 12.5.
