Mansfield Plumbing Products, which is the 4th largest employer in Ashland County, has plans to close their Perrysville operation by the end of this year.
According to RichlandSource.com, the closure will affect over all a total of 277 employees.
A press release said, a transition package, with health insurance and severance pay, will be offered to employees.
The company VP of commercial operations said, current economic conditions have created a cost-structure that made keeping the production facility unsustainable from a business standpoint.
