Madison Schools Continues With Extra Deputies In Buildings After Threat

Madison Superintendent, Rob Peterson, said, the district will have continue to have extra Sheriff deputies patrolling all buildings through Friday. This comes after two, 12 year old students were charged after allegedly talking about bring firearms to school.

Peterson told parents - it was safe to send their kids to school and he was assured by the Sheriff’s Department, those involved will be charged to the full extent of the law. RichlandSource.com reports, Peterson went on to say, “anything related to the safety of our students and staff, we take very seriously and act promptly.”
