The Mansfield Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on Thursday afternoon. The topic is the West Park Shopping Center. According to RichlandSource.com, the owners of the Shopping Center on Park Ave West failed to meet another deadline this week (Aug 15th), which was to provide the bonds needed to guarantee demolition of the structure. This comes after Mansfield ordered the demolition last November and granted an extension, to the company, until last month (July 14). The meeting is scheduled for 3 pm on Thursday.
