The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in Crawford County last weekend. An EF-1 tornado, with wind speeds just over 100 MPH, touched down northwest of Galion, near US 30 and Parcher Road. Around 12 homes were damaged and one was completely destroyed. No injuries were reported from the twister, which was on the ground for about 5 minutes and traveled just over 6 miles.
