3 people, including a juvenile, hurt in Ashland County crash

Three people were hurt after a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Mohican Township. According to the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 80-year-old Dennis M. Marks, of Perrysville, 70-year-old Carl Dowdy, of Mansfield, and a 16-year-old juvenile all suffered injuries and were taken to hospitals in Ashland and Mansfield. The incident took place on U.S. 30 eastbound at the intersection of County Road 2175 in Ashland County at approximately 8:27 Monday morning, when a vehicle driven by the juvenile, failed to yield at a yield sign, causing the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
