HB 33 To Require OHSAA Schools To Accept Cash at School-Affiliated Events

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed the state budget last week, July 4th, HB 33, which was passed by the legislature, included a provision that requires OHSAA member schools to accept cash as a form of payment for admissions and concession stand sales for all “school-affiliated events.”

The law will go into effect in October, which is 90 days after being signed by the Governor.
