A Butler native has been named, acting Richland County Clerk of Courts.
According to RichlandSource.com, Denise Ruhl, was appointed to the role by the Richland County Commissioners this week. Ruhl, who has spent 18 years working as the chief deputy clerk, will officially take over as the acting clerk on July 1st. This is due to longtime Clerk of Courts, Linda Frary, retiring on Friday, June 30th, due to health reasons.
