Ontario Police Officer To Be Honored For Saving Choking Toddler

An Ontario Police officer will be presented with an award for saving a toddler, who was choking.

Officer Rod Roose responded to a call from a residence on June 23rd, where a young toddler was choking. The officer quickly utilized his Life Vac device, which was able to free the object from the airway of the boy. Life Vac devices, back in 2020, were put into all Ontario Police vehicles by Chief Tom Hill.

Officer Roose, according to Chief, Tom Hill, will receive an award for saving the child’s life, which will take place at an upcoming Ontario City Council meeting.
