The 4th annual iHeart Radio Paws-a-thon, which took place last Friday across all 7 stations in Mansfield and Ashland, raised much needed funds for the Humane Society of Richland County.
iHeart Radio's Chris Kelly, spent a total of 11 hours on the air, which saw the community donate $17,000.
The organization is a non-profit and does not receive funding from the county or the state. So, an event like the Paws-A-Thon, is vital to bring in dollars to help care for the animals.
