HS Baseball: Ontario Finishes State Runner Up, Incredible Postseason Run

The Ontario Warriors incredible postseason run came to an end on Saturday night in the Division II state championship game. Ontario fell by a score of 4-3 to Chagrin Falls Kenston at Canal Park in Akron. Ontario started the year 3-9, and won 7 straight games to reach the title game for the first time in 29 years (1994). The game ended on a great diving catch by Kenston, which they turned a double play to win their first ever state championship. Ontario finishes the year at 17-15 and state runner up. The team received a ton of support from the entire community on their remarkable run.
